2008/2009 Youth Crew Nominations Sought
Every Voice in Action is looking for 10 high school and college-aged students to join our 2008/2009 Youth Crew.  The Youth Crew, now in its 9th year, is an after-school program through which young people decide how to distribute $50,000 in grant money to local nonprofits and schools.  New this year, Crew members will also design and implement social change projects and share their unique perspectives on a variety of topics with the community.  Crew members meet every Thursday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm during the school year and attend two weekend retreats (in late September and early January).  We would greatly appreciate your help in identifying and nominating youth for this leadership opportunity.  For a Nomination Form or more details about the Youth Crew, please call Ed Mercurio-Sakwa at 615-2100 or Click here.   Nominations are due by Wednesday, August 27, 2008!
